A retreat built around the landscape

Scope: New build, Cladding and roofing, Decks, Kitchen and interior fit-out

Completed contemporary rural accommodation with dark vertical cladding and timber deck

Contemporary accommodation with expansive glazing, dark vertical cladding and warm timber decking, delivered to sit naturally within its rural setting.

This rural accommodation project brought together a new building, generous glazing and outdoor decks, set low on a cleared rise above a creek and surrounded by paddocks and mature trees.

Dark vertical cladding allows the building to recede into its setting, while large sliding doors open each room to timber decking and the view beyond. Inside, the finishes are warm and simple: timber joinery, stone benchtops and natural light.

As with all our work, the quality of the finish relies on what's underneath, sound preparation, accurate framing and careful detailing of junctions, roofing and cladding.
